seeking a dedicated and qualified Assistant Professor to join our Department of Physiology. We are looking for an academic professional committed to delivering high-quality medical education, mentoring MBBS/postgraduate students, and contributing to the institution’s research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching: Deliver theory and practical lectures for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate medical students.
- Laboratory Supervision: Lead physiology laboratory sessions, including demonstrations using equipment like spirometers, sphygmomanometers, and ECG machines.
- Curriculum Development: Assist in developing study materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
- Mentorship & Research: Guide student projects, participate in departmental research, and publish original papers in indexed journals.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities align with the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) teaching and infrastructure norms.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MBBS with an MD/DNB in Physiology from a recognized medical institution.
- Note for Non-Medical: Candidates with an M.Sc. (Medical Physiology) followed by a Ph.D. in the concerned subject are also eligible as per NMC guidelines.
- Experience: Teaching experience in a recognized medical college is highly preferred.
- Registration: Valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC) is mandatory for medical graduates.
Pay: Up to ₹135,000.00 per month
