Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on routine tasks and troubleshooting.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PostgreSQL Administration.
- Experience in database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Ability to manage and configure database security, including user roles and permissions.
- Familiarity with scripting languages to automate routine database maintenance tasks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in PostgreSQL Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
