About the Role
Venture Skill India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Civil Engineering to join the faculty at Government Polytechnic College, Balrampur. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical education to diploma students, managing laboratory sessions, and bridging the gap between traditional academics and industry-ready skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Delivery: Conduct lectures and practical lab sessions for Civil Engineering diploma students in strict adherence to the Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP) and AICTE curriculum.
- Skill Development Integration: Align core coursework with practical industry requirements, integrating methodologies from vocational training frameworks (such as UPSDM or DDU-GKY) to maximize student employability.
- Laboratory Management: Oversee the operations, maintenance, and safety protocols for Civil Engineering labs, including surveying, soil mechanics, and concrete technology.
- Student Evaluation & Mentorship: Design assessments, track academic progress, and mentor students through their final-year projects and industrial training placements.
- Administrative Support: Collaborate with the Head of Department (HOD) on academic planning, institutional compliance, and the organization of technical workshops and seminars.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / B.S. in Civil Engineering with First Class (or equivalent CGPA) from an AICTE-approved institution. A Master's degree (M.E. / M.Tech) is a strong advantage.
- Experience: Prior teaching experience at the polytechnic/degree level or hands-on industry experience is preferred, though outstanding fresh graduates will be considered.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command over core civil engineering principles and familiarity with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro).
- Language: Fluency in both Hindi and English for effective classroom instruction.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
