Job Purpose:
To support the Engineering Projects team in handling forging and automation-related projects, including customer enquiries, technical discussions, project coordination, vendor follow-ups, and documentation.
The candidate will work on forging press systems, forging automation, machining line automation, tooling/die sets, industrial equipment, and related engineering solutions. The role involves coordination with customers, vendors, internal teams, and project partners to ensure smooth execution of technical and commercial activities.
5. Roles & Responsibilities:1. Technical & Project Support
- Understand customer requirements related to forging machines, automation systems, tooling, and industrial projects.
- Assist in preparing technical solutions and project proposals.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for technical inputs.
- Support project execution activities and monitor project progress.
- Assist in machine selection, process understanding, and automation requirements.
2. Engineering Coordination
- Follow up with customers and vendors regarding technical clarifications, drawings, quotations, and project timelines.
- Coordinate internally for project-related activities and status updates.
- Prepare project trackers and maintain project schedules.
- Attend customer meetings and prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting).
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain technical documents, drawings, datasheets, quotations, and project records.
- Prepare daily/weekly project status reports.
- Organize engineering documents systematically.
- Support preparation of presentations, technical summaries, and project reports.
4. Customer & Vendor Communication
- Draft professional emails for technical and commercial communication.
- Coordinate meetings, review discussions, and follow-ups.
- Maintain communication records for ongoing projects.
- Support management during customer visits and project reviews.
5. Automation & Process Understanding
- Assist in understanding automation systems used in forging and manufacturing industries.
- Support PLC-based automation coordination and machine integration activities.
- Work with engineering teams for process improvement and production efficiency.
6. Skills Required:
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Basic understanding of forging processes and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

7. Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- MBA is optional.
8. Key Skills Required:Preferred:
- Knowledge of forging operations and automation systems.
- Understanding of hydraulic presses, tooling, machining, and industrial equipment.
- Exposure to manufacturing or engineering projects.
Experience:
- 0–3 years of experience.
- Freshers may also apply.
- Experience in forging industry, automation, machine tools, fabrication, or project coordination will be preferred.
9. Compensation:
a. As per industry standards depending on experience.
b. Travel expenses for site work will be paid by the company.
