Video Editor - Role Overview
HKI Media & Services is looking for a talented and creative Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging visual content for brands, campaigns, and digital platforms.
The role goes beyond editing—requiring a strong understanding of sound design, audio storytelling, and synchronization to enhance the overall viewing experience. The ideal candidate should excel in visual storytelling, pacing, and digital content trends, while also ensuring high-quality audio output that aligns with brand communication and campaign goals.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Content Creation
- Edit high-quality videos for social media, brand campaigns, advertisements, and promotional content.
- Transform raw footage into engaging and visually appealing final videos.
- Work on short-form content (Reels, Shorts, promotional clips) as well as longer brand films.
Sound Design & Audio Enhancement
- Design and enhance audio elements including background music, sound effects, voiceovers, and ambient sound.
- Ensure proper audio mixing, leveling, and synchronization with visuals.
- Clean and optimize audio by removing noise and improving clarity.
- Select and integrate music and sound effects that align with brand tone and storytelling.
- Maintain consistency in audio quality across all video outputs.
Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with the Creative Head, Content Team, and Graphic Designers to align visuals and audio with campaign concepts.
- Contribute ideas to improve storytelling, pacing, and emotional impact through both visuals and sound.
Post-Production Management
- Handle cutting, transitions, color correction, sound editing, and basic motion graphics.
- Ensure final output meets both visual and audio quality standards and brand guidelines.
Asset & Deadline Management
- Organize footage, audio files, project files, and creative assets efficiently.
- Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
- Strong understanding of sound design, audio mixing, and synchronization
- Knowledge of background scoring, SFX usage, and audio enhancement techniques
- Strong grasp of visual storytelling, pacing, and social media video formats
- Experience with color correction, sound editing, and basic motion graphics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Media, Editing, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing and sound design
- Experience working with digital agencies, media companies, or production houses is preferred

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
