About the Role
Sanctum Infratech is looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Site Engineer to oversee construction activities at our residential redevelopment projects in Mumbai.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of residential construction, be capable of independently handling site execution, coordinating contractors and consultants, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work progresses as per approved drawings and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure execution is carried out strictly as per approved architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors and site teams.
- Plan daily and weekly site activities and ensure timely execution as per the project schedule.
- Monitor RCC, masonry, plaster, waterproofing, tiling, flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical and other finishing works.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, reinforcement, shuttering and other construction activities before execution.
- Ensure proper workmanship and adherence to prescribed quality standards and specifications.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with consultants/contractors for timely resolution.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site measurements, material records and work status reports.
- Monitor material requirements and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure uninterrupted work.
- Check quantities and measurements of work executed by contractors for billing purposes.
- Supervise labour and contractor productivity and ensure efficient utilisation of manpower.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials at site.
- Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals required at various stages of construction.
- Track project progress against planned timelines and immediately highlight delays or potential bottlenecks to the Project Manager.
- Assist in preparing work schedules, material requirements and manpower planning.
- Maintain proper site documentation, drawings and records.
- Ensure housekeeping and overall discipline at the project site.
- Take ownership of assigned work fronts and ensure timely completion with minimum supervision.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in residential / redevelopment construction.
- Strong practical knowledge of RCC and finishing works.
- Good understanding of structural and architectural drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, BOQs and specifications.
- Experience in handling contractors, subcontractors and labour teams.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, methods and quality control.
- Strong understanding of site measurements and contractor billing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify problems at site and take practical, timely decisions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of MS Excel / project reporting will be an advantage.
- Must be willing to work from the project site and take ownership of execution.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in Mumbai residential redevelopment projects, particularly high-rise RCC construction, will be preferred.

Compensation
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience and capability.
Joining: Immediate / Short Notice preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
