- Diagnose and manage life-threatening conditions in the ICU.
- Perform invasive procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and thoracentesis.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Provide support and guidance to ICU nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate and train medical students, residents, and fellows in critical care practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency care as needed.
