Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Equity Markets professional with 5+ years of experience in equity sales, dealing, sales trading or related capital-markets functions.
The role requires a combination of client-facing sales and hands-on trade execution. The candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships, understanding investment requirements, generating business and ensuring smooth execution of equity-market transactions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with HNI and institutional clients.
- Acquire new clients and generate business opportunities.
- Understand client investment and trading requirements.
- Provide relevant equity-market updates, ideas and opportunities.
- Execute client orders in cash equities and/or equity derivatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate trade execution.
- Monitor market movements, news, corporate actions and sector developments.
- Coordinate with dealers, traders, research and operations teams.
- Follow up on executed trades and ensure smooth post-trade coordination.
- Work toward sales, revenue and brokerage targets.
- Maintain regular communication with clients.
- Support client retention and business expansion.
- Follow internal risk-management and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Equity Markets.
- Prior experience in Equity Sales + Trade Execution is mandatory.
- Experience as an Equity Dealer, Sales Trader, Equity Sales Executive, Institutional Equity Sales professional or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Indian equity markets.
- Hands-on experience in cash market and/or F&O execution.
- Experience dealing with HNI, institutional or professional clients.
- Strong understanding of trading and order-execution processes.
- Excellent communication and client-management skills.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and convert them into business.
- Strong understanding of market trends and investment products.
- Ability to work effectively with dealing, research and operations teams.
- NISM certification will be an added advantage.

Important
This is not a pure sales or relationship-management position. The candidate must be comfortable with both client acquisition/relationship management and hands-on equity trade execution.
