Reporting To: Senior Interior Designer / Design Head
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Interior Designer to assist in designing and executing interior projects. The candidate will support the design team in space planning, preparation of drawings, material selection, site coordination, and project documentation while gaining hands-on experience in interior design and project execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Support
- Assist in developing interior design concepts, layouts, and presentations.
- Prepare 2D drawings, furniture layouts, and detailed working drawings.
- Support the creation of 3D models and renderings.
- Assist in preparing mood boards and material selection presentations.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams.
- Conduct site visits and assist in monitoring project progress.
- Ensure design specifications are implemented accurately at site.
Documentation
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material specifications, and project documentation.
- Maintain design records, drawings, and project files.
- Assist in preparing project reports and client presentations.
Client & Vendor Coordination
- Support senior designers during client meetings.
- Follow up with suppliers and vendors for quotations and material samples.
- Assist in resolving site and design-related issues.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Interior Design, Space Planning, and Material Selection.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of 3D software such as Lumion, V-Ray, or 3Ds Max is an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in Interior Design.
- Freshers with strong design knowledge and software skills are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Passion for interior design and learning new design trends.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and site requirements.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and project coordination.
- Knowledge of retail, residential, commercial, or furniture interior projects will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
