About the Role
Swaastech IT Solutions is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SEO Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization, website performance improvement, and digital visibility enhancement.
This internship is ideal for candidates who want practical exposure to On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, keyword strategy, and B2B digital marketing within the IT industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Page SEO
- Optimize website pages for targeted keywords
- Create and update SEO-friendly meta titles, meta descriptions, and headings
- Improve website content structure, internal linking, and URL optimization
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
- Optimize images, alt tags, and content readability
- Work on blog optimization and SEO content strategies
Off-Page SEO
- Assist in backlink building activities
- Perform directory submissions, social bookmarking, and profile creation
- Support guest posting and outreach activities
- Monitor backlink quality and domain authority
- Help improve website authority and search engine rankings
Technical SEO
- Monitor website indexing and crawl issues
- Assist in improving website speed and mobile responsiveness
- Work with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Identify and fix broken links, duplicate content, and SEO errors
- Support sitemap and robots.txt optimization
- Track website performance and SEO health metrics
Reporting & Marketing Support
- Prepare weekly SEO performance reports
- Track keyword rankings, traffic, and conversions
- Research trending topics related to IT Infrastructure & Technology
- Coordinate with the marketing and sales team for lead-focused campaigns
- Suggest ideas to improve organic traffic and digital reach
Skills & Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engine algorithms
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, or Ahrefs is a plus
- Knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO practices
- Strong content writing skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and eager to learn digital marketing strategies
