Job Responsibilities
- Prepare the cath lab before procedures by arranging sterile instruments, catheters, guidewires, balloons, stents, and medications.
- Maintain strict sterile technique throughout all procedures.
- Assist cardiologists and interventional physicians during procedures such as:
- Coronary angiography
- Angioplasty (PTCA)
- Stent placement
- Pacemaker insertion
- Peripheral vascular procedures
- Scrub in and hand instruments, catheters, and supplies to the physician during procedures.
- Monitor and manage sterile equipment and ensure proper functioning of devices.
- Prepare contrast media, flushing solutions, and sterile trays.
- Assist in patient preparation including positioning, skin preparation, and draping.
- Observe patient condition during procedures and report abnormalities immediately.
- Support emergency interventions during cardiac emergencies and code situations.
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation and inventory records.
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed.
- Clean, sterilize, and restock equipment after procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, technicians, radiographers, and anesthesia teams for smooth workflow.
- Follow infection control and hospital safety policies.
- Educate patients and families regarding pre-procedure and post-procedure care when required.

Qualification Requirements
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM Nursing
- Valid nursing registration
- Cath Lab experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification often preferred or required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
