Job Summary
We are seeking a polished and service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in delivering an exceptional fine dining experience. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for luxury hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of the fine dining restaurant
- Ensure exceptional guest service and personalized dining experiences
- Supervise front-of-house staff (hosts, captains, servers, sommeliers)
- Maintain fine dining service standards, etiquette, and presentation
- Assist in staff training on service excellence and menu knowledge
- Handle VIP guests and special requests professionally
- Manage reservations and seating coordination
- Monitor food presentation, service timing, and quality control
- Assist in inventory management (wine, beverages, premium supplies)
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and luxury service standards
- Step in as Acting Manager in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management
- 2–4 years of experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant management
- Strong knowledge of wine service and formal dining etiquette
- Excellent communication and guest-relations skills
- Professional grooming and presentation
- Ability to manage high-pressure service periods
