Preferred by Nature is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our forestry certification team in China. You will conduct FSC and PEFC certification audits and assessments for clients across Greater China, Japan, and Korea, managing your own portfolio of clients from scheduling through to report finalisation. Working within a close-knit regional team, you will play an important role in maintaining the quality and growth of our certification services, while building the technical expertise to support FSC Forest Management audits over time.
Working with us is never routine, so in your first year you can expect the following areas to be central to your work.
Conduct FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody and Forest Management certification audits for clients across China, Japan, and Korea, including on-site visits and desk audits.
Manage a portfolio of client engagements, including audit scheduling, budgeting, report writing, and client communication.
Within three months, you will:

Take on task management responsibilities for assigned clients, covering scheduling, reporting, and client follow-up.
Within twelve months, you will:
Hold a university degree in forestry, biology, geography, environmental management, or a related field, or hold a vocational qualification from the timber processing or trading industry.
Bring approximately 2 to 3 years of experience in the forest product sector (timber, printing, paper, or forestry) or related environmental management fields.
