Zaoq is looking for a skilled and passionate CDP (Tandoor Specialist) to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in handling tandoor operations, preparing authentic North Indian and tandoori dishes, and maintaining high standards of food quality and consistency in a fast-paced takeaway environment.
The role requires efficient section handling, preparation of tandoori items, hygiene maintenance, and coordination with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook tandoori dishes as per restaurant standards
- Handle tandoor operations independently during service hours
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food
- Prepare marinades, kebabs, breads, and other tandoori items efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and tandoor section
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef and kitchen staff for smooth operations
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients
- Follow food safety and kitchen operational guidelines
- Support timely order preparation during peak hours

Required Skills & QualificationsCulinary Skills
- Strong expertise in tandoor cooking techniques
- Experience in preparing kebabs, tikka, naan, roti, and other tandoori dishes
- Knowledge of marination, seasoning, and food presentation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tandoor operations
Operational Skills
- Ability to manage the tandoor section independently
- Knowledge of inventory and stock handling
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
