Job summary- Procurement professional responsible for sourcing materials, managing suppliers, negotiating costs, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining quality and cost
Roles and Responsibility-
· Identify and source materials, products, and services from approved suppliers.
· Prepare purchase orders and manage procurement activities.
· Coordinate with vendors for quotations, delivery schedules, and quality requirements.
· Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
· Maintain supplier records and evaluate vendor performance.
· Ensure timely availability of materials as per business requirements.
· Monitor purchase processes and maintain procurement documentation.
· Coordinate with stores, production, and finance teams for smooth operations.
· Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives. Efficiency to support business operations.
Educational Qualification-
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
· Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or Materials Management is an added advantage.
· Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), MS Excel, and procurement processes is preferred.
