DESIGNATION : Inside Sales Position
Position Summary:We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Inside Sales Executive to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will identify potential clients, nurture relationships, prepare freight quotations, and drive revenue growth in Air/Sea freight. This is an office-based role focused on converting leads into active clients through proactive outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively reach out to prospective clients to generate new business leads.
- Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare, send, and follow up on competitive rate quotations (air, sea, land) for import/export shipments.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for volume and gross profit.
- Operational Coordination: Coordinate with pricing, operations, and documentation teams to ensure smooth booking and execution of shipments.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, shipping line rate changes, and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline in the company CRM system.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 3 - 10 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs clearance procedures.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
- Mindset: Target-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of new leads generated (cold calls/emails).
- Number of quotations submitted.
- Sales conversion rate.
- Monthly revenue and volume targets.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
