A modular interior manufacturing facility located in Kottarakkara is looking for an experienced Cutting List Specialist to join our team.
We are a professionally managed commercial and residential interior fit-out firm, specializing in the planning, manufacturing, and execution of high-quality interior projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of modular furniture production, material estimation, cutting list preparation, and interior drawings, with the ability to coordinate effectively with the design and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit project sites and take final measurements
- Prepare precise cutting lists and panel optimization layouts for modular furniture and joinery works (plywood, MDF, laminate, veneers).
- Read and interpret 2D working drawings, floor plans, and elevation details.
- Calculate material take-offs, edge-banding requirements, and hardware hardware lists.
- Coordinate with the factory production team and site managers to resolve technical discrepancies before manufacturing.
- Minimize material wastage through intelligent optimization software/nesting methods.
- Prepare detailed 2D working drawings using AutoCAD
- Create furniture detailing, elevations, sections, and production drawings.
- Prepare accurate cutting lists for factory production.
- Prepare material and purchase lists based on approved drawings.
- Coordinate with the production, purchase, and site execution teams.
- Revise drawings, cutting lists, and purchase lists whenever required.
- Ensure all drawings and documents are accurate and ready for execution.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in panel cutting list preparation for interior or furniture manufacturing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CutList Plus, or panel optimization software.
- Strong understanding of interior materials, hardware, and joinery construction details.
- High numerical accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
