Role: Civil Site Engineer Seniority Level: Mid-level Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE) or Diploma in Civil Engineering Required Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in horizontal/real estate development Key Responsibilities: - Supervise daily site activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety protocols - Manage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project managers to achieve project goals - Conduct joint inspections, monitor finishing works, and verify quantities for billing purposes - Prepare and maintain systematic records, including Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and site documentation Must-Have Skills/Technologies: - Strong civil execution expertise - Proficiency in Excel - Proficiency in AutoCAD - Proficiency in project management software - Ability to manage multiple subcontractors - Excellent communication skills - Strong attention to detail Good-to-Have Skills/Technologies: - Experience with project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) - Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) - Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards related to horizontal development projects - Experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) - Certification in site safety management or a related field (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001) Must-Have Soft Skills: - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Problem-solving skills - Analytical skills - Excellent communication skills Good-to-Have Soft Skills: - Experience with industry-recognized certifications (e.g., OSHA, IOSH) - Leadership skills to drive project progress and coordinate with stakeholders
