Job Summary:
We are looking a skilled Body Shop Manager to join our Tata Motors Passenger car dealership at Tatibandh, Raipur (C.G.). The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 experience in Automobile dealership, with a focus on bodywork and paint. The Body Shop Manager will be responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, Organize, Lead and control total Bodyshop operations.
- Set and monitor realistic and achievable top line targets.
- Maintain service and parts coordination through regular meetings with Parts Manager.
- Conduct weekly analysis of success matrix parameters (% adherence to promised time, TAT- minor & medium & major jobs, % line items availability WRT, estimates, and labour utilization).
- Provide monthly performance results (total no. of vehicles, labour revenue, parts revenue, and expenses) to the Dealer Principal/General Manager.
- Ensure efficient Bodyshop operations through providing adequate tools and equipment and smooth workflow as per Standard Operating Procedure.
- Monitor complaint resolutions.
- Ensure customer confidence is enhanced through a clean and orderly service operation.
- Cultivate business relationships with paint vendor & insurance company.
- Monitor Bodyshop environmental and safety issues.
- Planning and organising Insurance Surveyor meet twice in a year.
- Planning and organising equipment training for a staff by Original Equipment
Experience: 5+ Years in similar position.
Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
