Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into polished, engaging video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives. The Video Editor will collaborate with marketing, creative, and production teams to deliver high-quality videos for digital platforms, social media, advertising campaigns, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into compelling and professional final products.
- Add graphics, animations, visual effects, transitions, and sound enhancements.
- Perform color correction, color grading, and audio synchronization.
- Create content optimized for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements.
- Ensure consistency in branding, style, and quality across all video assets.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Organize and maintain video files, assets, and project archives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Experience with motion graphics and basic animation.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and export settings.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience editing short-form social media content and long-form videos.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with camera operation and video production workflows.
- Experience with AI-powered editing tools and content creation platforms.
