We are looking for a skilled Plumbing Draftsman with strong experience in preparing technical plumbing drawings for swimming pools, water bodies, fountains, and filtration systems. The candidate should have expertise in pool hydraulic layouts, filtration room detailing, piping schematics, and coordination with MEP teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed plumbing drawings for:
- Swimming pools (residential & commercial)
- Jacuzzi / spa pools
- Water features & fountains
- Balance tank & filtration systems
- Develop:
- Pool hydraulic schematics
- Pump room layouts
- Pipe routing & isometric drawings
- Sectional details & installation drawings
- Prepare BOQ support drawings and material take-offs
- Coordinate with civil, electrical & MEP teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant plumbing and pool standards
- Revise drawings as per site changes
- Assist project team during execution stage
Technical Skills Required
- Strong command of:
- AutoCAD (2D mandatory)
- Revit (preferred)
- Basic hydraulic calculation understanding
- Knowledge of:
- Pool circulation systems
- Filtration systems (sand filters, pumps, heat pumps)
- Skimmer & overflow pool systems
- Balance tank design
- Plumbing materials (uPVC, CPVC, HDPE, SS)
- Understanding of pressure loss, pipe sizing & pump selection basics
Experience Required
- 3–7 years experience as Plumbing Draftsman
- Minimum 2+ years specifically in swimming pool plumbing design
- Experience working with pool contractors or water feature companies preferred
