We are looking for an experienced and proactive design professional who can understand customer requirements, convert them into practical engineering solutions, and effectively coordinate with the factory, production, and fabrication teams to ensure smooth manufacturing and timely execution of components as per specifications.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Design department. The candidate should have strong expertise in CAD and SolidWorks, along with extensive experience in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) based industry. This role involves leading the design team, for timely submission of drawings to customers through evaluation of design for manufacturing clarity and cost effectiveness along with good technical understanding of subject for discussion with customer.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the Mechanical Design / CAD team for EPC projects.
· Develop and review 2D & 3D designs, detailed engineering drawings, and assemblies using CAD and SolidWorks.
· Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, client requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
· Coordinate with project, procurement, production, and site execution teams for smooth project execution.
· Prepare, review, and control BOM (Bill of Materials), fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and manufacturing documents.
· Guide the team in design optimization for cost reduction, manufacturability, and efficient project delivery.
· Review fabrication and welding requirements to ensure practical and error-free production drawings.
· Handle design revisions, engineering change requests (ECR/ECO), and document control activities.
· Support vendor development and technical discussions with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
· Monitor project timelines and ensure design deliverables are completed within schedule.
· Mentor and train junior design engineers and CAD operators.
· Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and implementation of best design practices within the department.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
