We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and AI-driven healthcare solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Data Engineering, Snowflake, Data Warehousing, and Data Quality. This role involves building modern data platforms, enabling AI-assisted analytics, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality healthcare data for business intelligence and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for healthcare and enterprise data.
- Build scalable data integration solutions using SQL and Snowflake.
- Design and maintain modern data warehouse architectures to support analytics and reporting.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple healthcare systems, databases, APIs, and third-party sources.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and governance across enterprise datasets.
- Support business intelligence and analytics teams by delivering trusted, analytics-ready data.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and AI/ML Engineers to prepare datasets for AI-assisted analytics.
- Optimize SQL queries and data processing jobs for performance and scalability.
- Develop automated data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring processes.
- Implement best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and documentation.
- Monitor production data pipelines and troubleshoot data issues proactively.
- Participate in Agile development, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL/ELT development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Snowflake, and modern data warehouse solutions.
- Experience supporting enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare data processing, quality standards, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and data governance.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare analytics, population health, or payer/provider data platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics and modern data engineering practices.
- Snowflake SnowPro Certification or cloud data engineering certification is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
