Incumbent is expected to join Enterprise Business Solutions - Custom Development and Analytics team and will be responsible for supporting and enhancing a large portfolio of enterprise applications from across the business. Enterprise Business Solutions provides innovative solutions using modern technologies to support key business needs, and as part of this team, he/she will take part in a fast-paced work environment with tasks consisting of software development, enterprise application support (L2/L3), incident resolution, documentation, and strategic technological or process improvements.
Incumbent is expected to join Enterprise Business Solutions - Custom Development and Analytics team and will be responsible for supporting and enhancing a large portfolio of enterprise applications across the business. The Enterprise Business Solutions team provides innovative solutions using modern technologies to support key business needs, and as part of this team, he/she will work in a fast-paced environment involving software development, enterprise application support (L2/L3) , incident resolution, documentation, and strategic technology/process improvements.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with developers and business partners to deliver end-to-end solutions aligned to business requirements.
- Work directly with business users to gather requirements, clarify ambiguities, and translate needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core .
- Maintain and enhance existing applications, including legacy platforms (.Net Framework where applicable), supporting modernization initiatives.
- Develop APIs and integrations across enterprise systems using REST-based services and microservices architecture.
- Participate in Agile delivery: estimation, sprint planning, development, testing coordination, releases, and retrospectives.
- Provide end-to-end ownership of enterprise applications , including development, maintenance, enhancements, and lifecycle management.
- Provide production support (L2/L3) , including incident management, service requests, and problem resolution.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
- Monitor application performance, health, and availability using logging/monitoring tools to ensure SLA adherence.
- Work with software architects to analyze issues and implement recommended fixes/patches.
- Maintain high standards of code quality through reviews, version control practices, and automated/manual testing.
- Participate in on-call support rotation for urgent issue resolution.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and source control practices (branching, PR reviews, release tagging).
- Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core .
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Required)
- Strong experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Web API development .
- Experience with C\#, object-oriented programming, and design patterns .
- Experience in building and consuming REST APIs / microservices .
- Web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery or modern frameworks preferred).
- Strong working experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
- Familiarity with Git-based version control (GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Preferred / Nice-to-have)
- Working knowledge of Python for automation, data processing, or backend services.
- Exposure to AI / Machine Learning concepts, Generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot), or data-driven solutions .
- Exposure to Azure services / cloud-native development (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.).
- DevOps tooling and automation (CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows).
- Understanding of integration patterns/APIs, authentication, logging, and monitoring.
- Experience in architecture/design documentation (data models, system flows).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal) or legacy system modernization is a plus.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required with 3 - 6 years of experience.
