Video Editor
Role Summary
The Video Editor will create engaging, platform-first video content for brands across Instagram, Facebook and other digital channels. The role requires a strong sense of pacing, music, storytelling and visual polish, particularly for short-form content.
Experience required: 1-3 years
Location: Bandra West, Mumbai
Work setup: Full-time, office-based
Salary range: ₹3-4.8 LPA, depending on experience and portfolio

Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, reels, advertisements and campaign content
- Select the strongest footage and build clear, engaging narratives
- Work with music, transitions, sound design, subtitles and pacing
- Colour-correct and clean footage when required
- Create platform-appropriate versions and aspect ratios
- Collaborate with the creative and social media teams
- Understand the objective of each video before beginning the edit
- Organise project files and maintain proper footage backups
- Incorporate feedback without compromising overall edit quality
- Stay updated with editing styles, social trends and platform formats
- Use AI-supported editing tools where they meaningfully improve output
Software Proficiency
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of pacing, music and visual storytelling
- Good sense of social media trends without copying them blindly
- Ability to create clean, polished and brand-relevant edits
- Basic colour correction and sound-cleaning skills
- Ability to work with both professionally shot and phone-shot footage
- Strong file-management and deadline-management habits
Additional Requirements
- A showreel or portfolio is mandatory
- Experience editing social media content is preferred
- Basic motion graphics and text-animation skills are preferred
- Experience assisting on shoots or understanding shot requirements is an advantage'
