JOB PURPOSE
This opportunity is ideal for private equity/investment banking/strategy consulting professionals interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations. The role provides good exposure to various aspects of the private equity industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build, maintain, and stress-test complex financial models (LBO, merger multipliers, operating models, and cap tables) to evaluate potential investments and portfolio company value creation opportunities

Conduct comprehensive company and market due diligence, including scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and risk assessment

Lead the financial aspects of deal processes: forecast profitability, cash flows, returns, and exit analyses; develop investment theses and present findings to senior management and the investment committee

Improve modeling standards, templates, and processes; contribute to firm-wide best practices and training for analysts

Support valuation work, including precedent transactions, comps, and sum-of-the-parts analyses

Monitor portfolio company performance post-investment; assist with quarterly/annual budgeting, variance analysis, and value-creation plans

Maintain data integrity, manage data rooms, and coordinate with finance and operations teams to gather required inputs
KEY COMPETENCIES

MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA • 2–5+ years of financial modeling or investment banking/consulting/PE experience with a demonstrated track record in building robust financial models and performing valuation work

Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial databases and modeling tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg, FactSet)

Strong understanding of LBO mechanics, capital structure, and private equity investment processes

Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex analyses into concise, investment-focused narratives

Collaborative and proactive team player with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders
