Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and assist in preparing reports. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, strong numerical skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Record expenses and maintain proper documentation of bills and invoices.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow records.
- Prepare MIS reports and maintain financial data accurately.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding payment and billing activities.
- Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
- Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Accounting / Finance or related field.
- Candidates with accounting certifications or relevant experience will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge can also apply.
Required Skills
- Basic accounting principles and bookkeeping knowledge
- MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office proficiency
- Knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime or accounting software
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation basics
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
Pay: Up to ₹17,000.00 per month
