We are searching for a reliable Estimation Engineer Civil to join our capable team of professionals. The estimation engineer will be tasked with analyzing requirements, tendered documents, existing budgets and submission of tenders. To be successful as an Estimation Engineer you should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills. Outstanding estimators are not only great at analyzing costs, but they also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome.
Location : Pune (WFO)
Responsibilities:
1. Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
2. Identify and quantify the materials, labor, equipment, and other resources needed for the project.
3. Utilize industry knowledge and databases to determine the current market prices of construction materials and resources.
4. Calculate accurate cost estimates for each project phase, considering all relevant expenses, including direct and indirect costs.
5. Prepare detailed and well-structured cost estimates, providing breakdowns of expenses for materials, labor, overhead, and contingencies.
6. Maintain accurate records of cost data, vendor quotes, and other relevant information for reference and analysis.
7. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that cost estimates align with project plans and specifications.
8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any questions or concerns regarding cost estimates.
9. Participate in value engineering efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality and functionality.
10. Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including cost breakdowns and bid proposals for submission to clients.
11. Participate in bid analysis and provide insights into the competitiveness of bids.
12. Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new construction technologies that may impact cost estimation accuracy.
13. Contribute to the development and enhancement of estimation processes and tools.
14. Evaluate potential risks that could impact project costs and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. BE in Civil or B.Tech, No Diplomas will be considered.
2. Experienced in between 3 to 7 years in same field with similar responsibilities
3. Experience in estimation of projects in India as well as Overseas
4. Site construction experience is essential.
5. Good ability to use Primavera, MS Project and MS Office
6. Superior proficiency in estimation preparation techniques
7. Excellent Communication skill with fluency in English
8. Good project management skills
9. Excellent interpersonal skills
