Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP EHS Consultant with 5-8 years of specialized experience in Dangerous Goods (DG) handling, regulatory compliance, and SAP EHS data management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in transportation regulations (IATA, IMDG, 49CFR) and a strong background in classifying hazardous materials, managing DG master data, and ensuring global regulatory compliance. In this role, you will optimize SAP EHS processes, clear DG blocks, and lead change management initiatives to maintain compliance while enhancing operational efficiency.
Dangerous Goods Management Specialist: -
- Classify products and manage Dangerous Goods (DG) master data within SAP EHS.

Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and clear DG blocks in the system.

Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure safe handling and transportation of hazardous materials.

Conduct comprehensive data analysis and maintenance within the SAP EHS system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Assign Chemical Control Laws (CCL) and Country Compliance Rules (CCR) for products, clearing shipment blocks and ensuring global regulatory compliance.

Support the global regulatory labeling process, ensuring international compliance with labeling standards.

Support management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and integration of SDS data with SAP EHS and Logistics functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Manage the maintenance of regulatory and compositional data from suppliers and internal business units within SAP EHS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Facilitate the Vendor Engagement Process, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements through document collection and analysis.

Conduct List Sub and Pure Sub SERC data loads, ensuring all required regulatory data is entered into the system.

Gather physical and chemical properties data for products and raw materials, updating S4 HANA and SAP systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

5-8 years of experience in SAP EHS, with a focus on Dangerous Goods Handling and Regulatory Compliance.

Strong understanding of global transportation regulations (IATA, IMDG, 49CFR), GHS, and CLP standards.

Familiarity with global restricted substance lists is a plus.

Proven experience in managing DG master data, clearing DG blocks, and handling hazardous materials.

Excellent data analysis skills, with experience maintaining the integrity of EHS data in SAP systems.
