Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Jewelry Designer to lead company's creative design efforts for lab-grown diamond jewelry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, materials, and customer preferences, along with the ability to guide and mentor a creative team.
Key Responsibilities:
● Creative Leadership:
○ Lead the creative and design process for lab-grown diamond jewelry, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends.
○ Guide and mentor a team of junior designers and CAD professionals to maintain high-quality outputs.
● Design Development:
○ Develop innovative design concepts and oversee the creation of detailed sketches and illustrations.
○ Collaborate with CAD designers to translate hand sketches into precise CAD models, ensuring all design elements are accurately represented.
● Material Selection & Prototyping:
○ Evaluate and select materials for jewelry designs, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and ethical considerations.
○ Drive the prototyping process in collaboration with the product development team, refining designs to achieve excellence.
● Quality Assurance:
○ Conduct in-depth reviews of prototypes and CAD models to ensure manufacturability and adherence to quality standards.
○ Ensure all designs align with specifications and uphold the brand’s
commitment to craftsmanship.
● Market Insights & Collaboration:
○ Stay ahead of market trends, industry advancements, and emerging styles to shape future collections.
○ Collaborate with gemologists, material specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
● Communication & Presentation:
○ Facilitate design review sessions, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
○ Present design concepts, vision, and rationale to cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
● A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality jewelrydesigns, with significant experience in lab-grown diamond collections.
● 6+ years of professional experience in jewelry design, including leadership roles.
● Advanced proficiency in hand sketching, illustration, and CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix).
● Expertise in materials, gemstones, and manufacturing processes relevant to lab-grown diamond jewelry.
● Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
● Proven leadership and team management skills.
● Experience designing for export markets is a significant advantage.
● Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
