Job Summary: The MIS & FPA role will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of key financial reports, dashboards, and analyses for senior management. This is a critical role that provides the insights needed to monitor business performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance and accounting and is highly proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare & deliver regular MIS reports, including sales performance, production costs, profitability analysis, and financial forecasts. Develop & maintain dashboards to track KPIs for all departments.
· Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data from various sources to provide actionable insights. Identify significant variances and trends and present findings clearly and concisely to management.
· Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Monitor and report on actual performance against budget, providing detailed variance analysis.
· Streamline data collection and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Work with other departments to ensure consistent data input and reporting standards.
· Respond to specific data requests from the CEO and other senior leaders, conducting ad-hoc analysis to support new projects, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or a related field. A CA, CA Inter or CMA certification is an advantage.
· Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in a finance and accounts role, with a strong focus on MIS and financial analysis within the manufacturing sector.
· Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint, and Tally. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
