Job Summary
Chhabra Hospital and Maternity Home and Babies World IVF Centre are hiring dedicated and compassionate GNM Staff Nurses to join our patient care team.
The candidate should be clinically responsible, caring, disciplined, and capable of managing patients in OPD, IPD, maternity, gynecology, IVF, procedure room, and post-operative care areas. We are looking for nurses who believe in ethical patient care, teamwork, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to OPD, IPD, maternity, gynecology, and IVF patients.
- Monitor vital signs, maintain nursing charts, and document patient condition accurately.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments as per doctor’s orders.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, deliveries, and minor interventions.
- Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, surgery, and IVF-related treatments.
- Maintain proper patient records, medication records, and nursing documentation.
- Ensure infection control, hygiene, and patient safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in antenatal, postnatal, gynecological, and fertility-related patient care.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients when required.
- Coordinate with doctors, OT staff, pharmacy, laboratory, and front desk team.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of nursing stations, wards, and procedure areas.
- Follow hospital protocols for emergency care, admission, discharge, and handover.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- GNM qualification from a recognized nursing institute.
- Valid nursing registration preferred.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Prior experience in maternity, gynecology, IVF, OT, or hospital setup will be preferred.
- Good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
- Basic knowledge of medication administration, IV cannulation, vitals monitoring, and patient documentation.
- Must be disciplined, compassionate, and responsible.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in maternity hospital, IVF centre, labor room, or gynecology ward will be given preference.
- Should be sincere, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Must maintain patient confidentiality and professional behavior.
