Core Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify prospective clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events to build a robust sales pipeline. [1]
- Sales & Pitching: Conduct needs analyses, deliver tailored product presentations, and recommend customized solutions. [1]
- Deal Closing: Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and contracts to successfully convert prospects into paying customers. [1, 2, 3]
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, driving customer retention, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities. [1, 2]
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery. [1]
- Sales Forecasting: Track sales activities, manage CRM data, and report progress to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas. [1, 2]
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or account management (typically 1–5+ years depending on the seniority of the role).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Negotiation: Persuasive, resilient, and highly adept at objection handling.
