This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Service division at Nashik, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:-
Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.

Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project.

Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.

Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.
Qualifications for the role-
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (should be full-time)

Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in Industrial Engineering including work study, assembly line balancing, method study, work measurement, workstation design, ergonomics, production capacity evaluation, plant layout execution, and material storage system design.

Strong background in New Product Development with AutoCAD Mechanical design of fixtures, tools, and gauges; implementation of procedures, processes, and controls; and selection/provision of tools for new products.

Proven ability in CAPEX Management, overseeing capital expenditure projects and ensuring ROI alignment

Experience in Risk Management audits and maintenance programs to ensure operational safety and compliance

Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical and SAP PP & MM; added advantage with Flexim (digital twin/simulator), Power BI, and Power Apps.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to drive execution in dynamic manufacturing environments.
