- Data Input: Accurately encode alphanumeric data from source documents into designated software or databases.
- Verification: Verify entered data against source documents to identify and correct discrepancies or duplicates.
- Record Management: Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files for quick retrieval.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive company and customer information with strict adherence to data privacy and security guidelines.
- Reporting: Generate routine reports and summaries based on the encoded data as required by supervisors.
- Maintenance: Perform regular data backups to prevent information loss. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Qualifications & Skills
- Typing Proficiency: High-speed typing (often 50–60+ words per minute) with exceptional accuracy.
- Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and general database management systems.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for spotting spelling errors, missing numbers, or formatting inconsistencies.
- Time Management: Ability to manage high volumes of data and meet strict operational deadlines.
- Education: Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is often (Hindi reading & writing must)
