1. Advanced Networking & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance-related issues.
- Work on advanced IP addressing concepts such as VLSM, CIDR, subnetting, and VLAN configuration.
- Diagnose latency, DNS, DHCP, routing, and network access issues.
- Use tools such as ping, tracert, pathping, nslookup, telnet, packet capture tools, and network monitoring platforms.
- Perform packet capture analysis and identify network traffic or routing issues.
2. Windows OS Administration
- Provide advanced support for Windows desktop and laptop operating systems.
- Troubleshoot OS-level issues, boot failures, profile corruption, performance issues, and application errors.
- Safely edit and manage Windows registry settings when required.
- Use troubleshooting tools such as Resource Monitor, Event Viewer, Task Manager, WinRE, and Safe Mode.
- Apply and troubleshoot Group Policy settings on client systems.
- Automate basic administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts.
3. Windows Active Directory Administration
- Manage Active Directory users, groups, computers, and organizational units.
- Troubleshoot AD login issues, trust issues, replication failures, and authentication problems.
- Manage and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects.
- Support FSMO role-related activities and coordinate with higher-level teams when required.
- Perform bulk user creation, modification, and reporting using PowerShell.
- Manage DNS records in Active Directory integrated environments.
- Delegate access and permissions as per business requirements.
4. Firewall & Security Policies
- Configure and troubleshoot firewall policies, zones, NAT rules, ACLs, and VPN connectivity.
- Analyze firewall logs to identify blocked services, security events, and access issues.
- Create and manage application-specific firewall rules.
- Support site-to-site VPN and remote access VPN troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with security teams for firewall-related changes and incident resolution.
5. Printer & Peripheral Management
- Manage enterprise print servers, print queues, and printer drivers.
- Map printers using Group Policy Objects.
- Troubleshoot network printer connectivity, spooler issues, driver conflicts, and printing delays.
- Support scanners, biometric devices, projectors, docking stations, and other IT peripherals.
6. Laptop & Desktop Advanced Support
- Provide L2-level support for laptops, desktops, and end-user devices.
- Manage BIOS/UEFI settings, firmware updates, and hardware-level troubleshooting.
- Support BitLocker recovery, encryption-related issues, and secure device recovery.
- Perform data backup, data recovery, OS reinstallation, and system migration.
- Support OS imaging and deployment using MDT, SCCM, or similar tools.
- Conduct bare-metal recovery and system restoration activities.
7. Server Administration
- Support Windows Server administration activities.
- Configure and manage NTFS permissions, shared folders, DFS, and print servers.
- Perform Windows Server backup, restore, and patch management.
- Monitor server performance, disk utilization, services, event logs, and system health.
- Coordinate with internal teams for server upgrades, maintenance, and incident resolution.
8. Antivirus & Endpoint Security
- Manage enterprise antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
- Monitor signature updates, agent health, and endpoint protection status.
- Investigate malware alerts, suspicious activities, and infected endpoints.
- Perform malware remediation and coordinate with security teams when required.
- Run scans through centralized console and command-line tools.
- Review quarantined items and take appropriate action as per security policy.
9. Incident, Service Request & Escalation Management
- Handle escalated L2 technical issues from the helpdesk or L1 team.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Maintain proper documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolution details.
- Follow ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders for issue resolution.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers when required.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
