Job Overview
Ikigaii Education Services is looking for a confident, fluent, and well-spoken College Counselling & Parent Engagement Executive to connect with parents and students, understand their requirements, and generate qualified leads for our counselling team.
This is a work-from-home role and is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to people, is warm yet persuasive, and can represent an education counselling brand professionally.
We are open to candidates from different backgrounds, including homemakers looking to restart their careers, college students, freshers, or individuals who may not have prior work experience but are eager to learn, grow, and work sincerely from the comfort of their home.
Some initial knowledge of career counselling, study abroad, or international education will be an added advantage, but it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Call parents and students from the given lead database.
- Briefly explain Ikigaii’s services in career counselling, profile building, study abroad guidance, and college admissions.
- Understand the student’s grade, academic interests, country preferences, and counselling requirements.
- Identify interested families and schedule counselling sessions or follow-up calls.
- Maintain accurate call records, lead status, and follow-up notes.
- Send WhatsApp messages, reminders, and basic information as required.
- Coordinate with the counselling and admissions team for qualified leads.
- Follow up consistently with warm leads without being pushy.
- Work with basic CRM tools to update lead status and follow-up details.
Required Skills
- Very fluent spoken English communication skills.
- Confident, warm, and professional phone manner.
- Ability to speak clearly with parents and handle basic queries.
- Good listening skills and follow-up discipline.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Comfortable using Google Sheets, WhatsApp, email, and basic CRM tools.
- Must have a laptop/desktop and stable Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Prior experience in telecalling, education counselling, admissions, sales, or customer service will be preferred, but is not compulsory.
