Job Summary
Lere Academy is looking for a passionate and skilled English to German Language Trainer to join our team. The candidate should be proficient in German and English and capable of teaching German clearly and effectively to students from beginner to intermediate levels.
The trainer will be responsible for conducting engaging classes, improving students' German communication skills, and preparing them for language examinations and real-life communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct German language classes through English.
- Teach German from A1 to B2 levels.
- Explain German grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure.
- Develop lesson plans and learning materials.
- Focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Conduct interactive activities, assignments, and assessments.
- Prepare students for German language examinations such as Goethe/TELC.
- Provide individual feedback and support to students.
- Track student progress and help them improve their German proficiency.
- Maintain an engaging and positive classroom environment.
- Conduct both online and offline classes when required.
Requirements
- Excellent proficiency in German and English.
- B2/C1 or higher German proficiency preferred.
- Previous German teaching experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of German grammar and communication.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain German concepts clearly in English.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Good interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- Experience with online teaching platforms is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Goethe / TELC certification is an advantage.
- Experience teaching A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels.
- Experience in exam-oriented German training.
- Ability to conduct engaging online and offline sessions.
