UNIKraft Techno LLP is a leading provider of Robotic Welding Automation, Industrial Automation, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Assembly & Testing Lines, and Custom Engineering Solutions. We are looking for a dynamic Purchase Engineer to manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, and job work services for our automation and machine-building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement of Raw Materials such as MS, SS, Aluminum, Pipes, Plates, Structural Steel, and Engineering Materials.
- Handling consumable purchases including welding consumables, fasteners, cutting tools, abrasives, and industrial supplies.
- Managing job work vendors for machining, fabrication, laser cutting, bending, powder coating, painting, heat treatment, plating, and assembly activities.
- Vendor development and supplier performance evaluation.
- RFQ preparation, quotation comparison, and commercial negotiations.
- Ensuring timely availability of materials and job work components.
- Coordination with Design, Planning, Production, Stores, and Quality departments.
- Cost reduction and procurement planning activities.
- Maintaining procurement records and ERP transactions.
Requirements
- Diploma / BE Mechanical.
- 3–10 years of experience in Purchase, Vendor Development, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in Engineering Manufacturing, SPM, Robotics, Industrial Automation, Fabrication, or Machine Building industries.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of fabrication, machining, and manufacturing processes.
