Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Survey & Planning Engineer to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-rise building construction projects and will be responsible for quantity surveying, cost control, project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
Key Responsibilities Quantity Surveying
- Prepare detailed BOQs and quantity estimates from construction drawings.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and quantity reconciliation.
- Verify contractor bills, subcontractor bills, and supplier invoices.
- Prepare rate analysis for additional and variation items.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Track change orders, variations, and claims.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material quantity planning and cost control.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Maintain records of measurements, contracts, bills, and cost data.
- Prepare weekly steel and concrete wastage reports.
Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project.
- Prepare detailed construction programs and activity sequencing plans.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress.
- Create look-ahead plans (2-week, 1-month, and 3-month).
- Track critical path activities and identify schedule risks.
- Develop recovery plans for delayed activities.
- Coordinate with site, procurement, design, and consultant teams.
- Monitor manpower, equipment, and material deployment.
- Prepare MIS reports and project progress dashboards.
Reporting & Coordination
- Conduct weekly project review meetings.
- Prepare budget vs. actual cost analysis reports.
- Highlight project delays, resource constraints, and cost overruns.
- Support management with project forecasting and decision-making.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project performance.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Planning for high-rise building construction projects.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential and commercial high-rise projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project controls.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
