Position: Inventory Assistant

Job Summary
The Inventory Assistant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movements, conducting stock audits, and ensuring the availability of materials and products required for business operations. The role supports warehouse, procurement, and logistics functions by ensuring inventory accuracy and timely stock replenishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions in ERP/software systems.
- Receive, verify, and record incoming materials and stock.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for stock replenishment.
- Prepare inventory reports and stock movement summaries.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory items.
- Track inbound and outbound inventory movements.
- Follow company inventory control procedures and documentation standards.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in inventory, stores, warehouse, or logistics operations.
- Freshers with relevant knowledge can also be considered.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
