About Position:
We are seeking a Senior Telecom BSS Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java-based enterprise systems and front-end BSS platforms. This role focuses on designing, supporting, and optimizing large-scale Telecom BSS applications such as CRM, eCare, POS, and Order Management systems, with deep involvement in production troubleshooting, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do:
- Provide technical leadership and support for front-end Telecom BSS systems (CRM, eCare, POS, Order Management)
- Design, develop, and support enterprise-grade Java applications in microservices or distributed architectures
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues using JVM analysis, garbage collection tuning, heap and thread dumps
- Troubleshoot front-end issues across JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, browser tools, APIs, and network layers
- Monitor system health and user experience using observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic, or Grafana
- Support and enhance Telecom BSS processes including customer onboarding, account management, order capture, provisioning, and service management
- Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases including Couchbase
- Tune database performance using N1QL queries and cluster-level optimizations
- Implement and support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
- Maintain operational runbooks, monitoring dashboards, and deployment automation
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Network, and Operations teams to resolve critical incidents
- Follow ITSM processes using tools like ServiceNow or Jira, including incident, problem, and change management
- Mentor junior engineers and guide teams on troubleshooting and operational best practices
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and production readiness activities
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in senior technical roles within the Telecommunications domain
- Strong hands-on experience with Telecom BSS platforms and CRM-based applications
- 5+ years of enterprise Java development experience in microservices or distributed systems
- Deep understanding of JVM internals, GC tuning, and production performance diagnostics
- Strong expertise in front-end troubleshooting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, browser/debug tools)
- Solid experience with observability platforms (Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana)
- Deep functional understanding of Telecom BSS business workflows
- Hands-on experience with Couchbase and SQL/NoSQL databases including performance tuning
- Strong exposure to DevOps tools and practices (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible)
- Experience working with ITSM frameworks and enterprise ticketing tools
- Proven leadership or mentoring experience in technical teams
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related technical field
