Role Description
In this role, you will serve as a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development & Research Associate to support our business growth initiatives and client engagement efforts in the UAE region. The role involves assisting senior team members in managing client interactions, preparing proposals, coordinating internal governance, and running targeted marketing and outreach campaigns.
This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and enjoys blending research, communication, and business development responsibilities.
Key Result Areas:
1. Client Support and Communication
- Participate in client calls and internal meetings to take notes, prepare summaries, and draft professional proposals.
- Assist in managing internal governance meetings and follow-up actions.
2. Reporting & Data Management
- Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports and internal performance dashboards.
- Support the business development team with pipeline tracking, CRM updates, and routine follow-up calls.
3. Campaign & Marketing Coordination
- Assist in the execution of targeted business campaigns, including:
o DIFC / ADGM prospect lists
o CCI and AmCham outreach
o Group clients with local presence
o Law firm and professional services campaigns
o LinkedIn engagement initiatives
- Local event coordination and support
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify potential clients and partnership opportunities, including international consulting and audit firms not currently active in the region.
4. Client & Market Research
- Support client mining initiatives through detailed research, lead identification, and opportunity mapping.
- Maintain awareness of market trends, industry developments, and potential cross-selling opportunities.
Required Competencies, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM tools is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic, French, or German will be an asset.
