Position: Staff Nurse
Location: Avana Cares, Pune
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and skilled Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care to elderly residents at our care facility. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring residents' health, administering medications, coordinating with doctors, and ensuring their overall well-being and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and support to elderly residents.
- Monitor vital signs and overall health condition of residents.
- Administer medications as prescribed by doctors and maintain proper records.
- Assist residents with their daily healthcare needs and medical procedures.
- Coordinate with visiting doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Identify and report any changes in residents' health conditions promptly.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, medical records, and medication charts.
- Handle emergency situations and provide appropriate first aid when required.
- Ensure proper infection control, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents and their families.
- Coordinate with caretakers and other staff members to ensure quality resident care.
- Maintain proper handover between shifts.
Eligibility & Skills:
- ANM
- Valid nursing registration.
- Experience in elderly care, nursing homes, hospitals, or assisted living facilities will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude toward senior citizens.
- Ability to work in shifts, including night shifts.
- Basic knowledge of emergency care and elderly health conditions.
