We are looking for a compassionate, confident, and result-oriented Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding client/student needs, providing appropriate guidance, resolving queries, and helping them make informed decisions regarding our services.
The candidate should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective clients/students and understand their requirements and concerns.
- Provide accurate information about courses, programs, services, or offerings.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Guide candidates through the complete counselling and decision-making process.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with interested prospects.
- Convert leads into successful enrollments/sales where applicable.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and students.
- Address queries and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and update CRM systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer/student experience.
- Achieve assigned counselling, conversion, and performance targets.
- Stay updated with company offerings, policies, and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Counsellor, Academic Counsellor, Admission Counsellor, Career Counsellor, or similar role is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to understand client needs and provide suitable guidance.
- Good convincing and negotiation skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to handle multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in education, training, ed-tech, admissions, or customer counselling.
- Experience in lead conversion and telephonic counselling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
