We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and experienced PGT English Teacher to teach Senior Secondary Classes (XI–XII) in accordance with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum and guidelines.
The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop strong language and literary abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Literature and Language to Classes XI & XII as per CBSE syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials aligned with academic objectives.
- Conduct classroom teaching using modern pedagogy and digital tools.
- Assess students through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain student performance records and provide feedback to parents and school management.
- Participate in school activities, academic planning, and curriculum development.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive assessments.
- Conduct remedial classes for students requiring additional academic support.
- Participate in PTMs, workshops, and school events.
Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification
- Post Graduate Degree in English (M.A. English)
- B.Ed. from a recognized university
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years teaching experience in Senior Secondary Classes (XI–XII) in a CBSE school.
Required Skills
- Excellent spoken and written English communication
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum and assessment pattern
- Classroom management and student engagement skills
- Ability to use Smart Boards, LMS, and digital teaching tools
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Board Examination Evaluation
- Participation in Olympiad / Debate / Literary Activities
- Knowledge of NEP 2020 based teaching practices
Salary
As per school norms and candidate experience
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
