Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Driver to safely transport employees, materials, and goods as per company requirements. The ideal candidate should possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License with Batch Endorsement, have good knowledge of Chennai routes, and maintain a high standard of vehicle care and road safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles to assigned destinations.
- Pick up and deliver materials, documents, and personnel on time.
- Follow traffic rules and ensure safe driving practices at all times.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Keep accurate records of fuel usage, vehicle servicing, and trip details.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
- Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays and ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements
- Experience: 2–5 years as a Driver.
- License: Valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) License with Batch Endorsement is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Chennai roads and traffic regulations.
- Ability to maintain vehicle logs and basic documentation.
- Punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
