Role Description
Subo is looking for a Fashion Design Intern who has a strong eye for fashion, trends, silhouettes, and styling aesthetics.
We're looking for someone creatively driven - someone who doesn't just follow trends, but knows how to reinterpret them in a fresh way that aligns with the brand's identity.
Responsibilities
- Assist in research and design development for upcoming collections
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, emerging designers, silhouettes, fabrics, and styling directions
- Curate fresh design concepts and statement pieces aligned with Subo's aesthetic
- Create mood boards, color stories, and collection references
- Develop unique silhouettes and design elements that feel elevated and non-repetitive
- Assist with sketching, technical drawings, and detailing
- Coordinate with vendors, karigars, and sampling units
- Assist during fittings, shoot styling, and production follow-ups
- Help organize collection documentation and design files
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design
- Strong understanding of silhouettes, garment construction, fabrics, and detailing
- Aesthetic sensibility aligned with western fashion
- Ability to research trends while bringing fresh and original ideas to the table
- Good understanding of branding and fashion positioning
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop preferred
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
