Responsibilities:
- Perform design and analysis functions for various structures
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing structures
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and other operatives at construction site
- Managing the setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
- Develop solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget, schedule and project constraints
- Issue reports, schedules, estimates of probable costs, responses to SOIs, RFPs
- Review designs prepared by others as part of a TQM process
- Should have hands on experience in supervision, coordination with activity sequencing and handing over of works.
- Ensure that all materials used as per work order and work performed are as per specifications.
- Supervise the selection and raise requisition of materials and machinery
- Manage day to day activities on site including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractor
- Plan the daily works with contractor as per the weekly schedule and efficiently organize site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
- Prepare and generate daily progress report, next day planning, material inventory register and other related reports.
- Provide data in respect of variation orders and site instructions
- Improve quality standards within the work environment through regular tracking and monitoring mechanisms
- Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures - complying with legal regulations.
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Acquire building or planning regulation approvals.
- Oversee contracts while managing projects.
- Scrutinize properties to check conditions/foundations
- Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager
Required Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering ( Civil / Mechanical ) from a reputed university
- Minimum 6-9 years of experience in Structures & Finishing Works of large scale Construction Projects/ High Rise buildings / Towers.
Key Skills:
- Should have very strong background in Structures and Finishing's with eye to detail and should have expertise in residential & High Rise projects finishing work and be able to lead the execution team at the block.
- Should be conversant with project contract documents and approval protocols pertaining to finishing execution.
- Interpersonal skill, ethical values and commitment to continual improvement.
- A self-motivated /go getter, result oriented person.
- Good interpersonal skill & a team player.
- Knowledge of High Rise Residential / Township/ and well conversant with requirements of Real Estate / Construction sector is a must
- Digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and will provide support to a strong, motivated teams
