Role Overview
We're looking for a Short-Form Video Editor who understands social media. Your primary responsibility is to transform raw footage into engaging Reels, Shorts, and vertical videos that grab attention within the first few seconds and drive engagement.
What You'll Do
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other vertical videos.
- Create fast-paced edits with strong hooks and storytelling.
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, zooms, sound effects, and trending editing styles.
- Sync visuals with music, voiceovers, and sound design.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form assets.
- Collaborate with the creative, strategy, and production teams.
- Deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines.
- Stay updated with social media trends, memes, formats, and platform algorithms.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience editing social media content.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of After Effects.
- Understanding of pacing, retention, and audience engagement.
- Experience editing talking-head videos, podcasts, product videos, and lifestyle content.
- Ability to edit for different brand tones while maintaining consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling.
Bonus Skills
- Motion Graphics
- AI Editing Tools (Premiere AI, CapCut, etc.)
- Basic Color Grading
- Thumbnail Design
- Basic Knowledge of Camera Angles and Shot Selection

- Delivers multiple edits daily without compromising quality.

- Understands what performs on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
